Darielle knew early on that she had a calling and desire to help others. Throughout her teens, she developed a deep appreciation for and connection with the joy that working with the body can bring. Weight training at 16 became a refreshing outlet during a difficult period of her life. Since 2007, Darielle has been studying and immersing herself in all things anatomy and physiology. She brings her extensive knowledge and love of the body, combined with her passion for healing and helping others, to her massage therapy practice, which is driven by heart.
Darielle’s inspiration for Shore to Heal Massage Therapy is drawn from the ocean itself and its healing properties. From the serenity of the open waters, teaching us to be still in our own body and mind; the movement of waves onto shore, reminding us of the ebb and flow in the healing process; to rough seas bringing treasures to the surface, a reminder that beauty and growth often follow challenging times.
Bringing the lessons of nature into her practice, Darielle strives to create a tailored, unique experience for each of her clients. We all deserve to be heard, to be still, and to heal. Providing an environment to disconnect from the stressors of daily life and reconnect with ourselves gives the opportunity for body and mind healing.
At Shore to Heal Massage Therapy, communication and safety are priorities. You are encouraged to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. There are many reasons our bodies could feel pain: injury, overuse, stress, anxiety, to name a few. Understanding the depth of pain can involve exploring beyond what we feel on the surface. However, many times our bodies may not be ready for depth, and we can be here to simply facilitate the disconnect to reconnect and heal.
You can expect to find a calming atmosphere when you step into a Shore to Heal massage therapy room, offering a variety of massage services from Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, to hot stones, to name a few. Whatever your body needs, Darielle listens and strives to make each session a step towards an improved version of you.
